RONALD LANE HERRINGTON, age 62, KY Hwy. 392, Cynthiana, died Tuesday, October 3, 2006, at Mary Chiles Hospital in Mt. Sterling. Born in Harrison County, July 28, 1944, to the late Paul A. and Myrtle B. Geoghegan Herrington, he was the owner of H & B Consultants and a former United States Treasury Department employee. Ron was a Harrison County Assistant Baseball Coach for twenty seven years and a Harrison County Assistant Fillies Basketball Coach for six years. He was a member of the Cynthiana Lions Club and Republican Christian Church.

He is survived by his wife, Lena Cheek Herrington; a son, John Daniel (Allison Clark) Herrington, Lexington; a daughter, Michelle “Macie” Brown, Mt. Sterling; a brother, Fred (Juanita) Herrington, Harrison County; a sister, Linda (Dudley) Fitzgerald, Harrison County and two grandsons, Dalton and Jared Brown.
