Toma the Mime

Today was an awesome day spent writing stories with our peers and seeing them performed by a professional mime! If you would like to see pics of Toma the Mime and video of some of his performances, there is a link at the right titled “Toma the Mime”. Click and explore the silent world of mimes.

Box Tops keep coming!

Please continue to send in Box Tops for the contest for our class to win an iPod. We have turned in tons of these and are hanging in there with some other teachers, but it is getting close! All Box Tops earn money for our school, so there are two good things to gain by sending them in!

Valentine’s Day Party

Our class Valentine’s Day Party will be held this Friday, February 10 at 2:00. Students are bringing home letters today with the details. This is not a major party; simply snacks, drinks, and exchanging valentines. Instead of having a major party, students will be making valentines for Cedar Ridge, and delivering them to the residents. Your child may make a box for their valentines or bring some sort of container to carry them home in. This is not a mandatory project, but please remember to bring something to carry your valentines.
