I wanted to take a minute to congratulate our 2011-2012 officers for an outstanding year!

I also want to mention how excited I am about our 2012-2013 Officer and Executive Team! Mrs. Jones and I are very excited about the potential this team has! Good luck as you enter into your leadership role in the Harrison County FFA Chapter!

The end is near! My agriscience students should be plenty busy this week with their insect/bug collections! Collections are due next Tuesday the 15th. If you have questions please let me know. I can’t wait to see the cool bugs/insects that will be on display next week!

Come on out and enjoy a fun filled evening at the fair grounds to see some great tractors and trucks try to earn some money! Cost is $10.00 per person at the gate. Concessions will be provided as well.

The Harrison County FFA banquet is scheduled for May 3rd. We will eat at 6 pm in the cafeteria and then move to the auditorium for the awards portion of the evening. Hope to see everyone there!

All Harrison County FFA members are will enjoy a free meal for banquet. Any guests that a member brings will be $5.00/ each. If you have questions see an adviser!

Any student interested in running for an office or committee needs to download the application from Mrs. Jones blog. All applications are due by April 20th. Elections will take place in Mr. Brannock’s room on Monday, April 30th. If you have any questions or concerns please let us know.

Northern Kentucky Region has welcomed Harrison County into out new region. Last week B. Darnell was names as the Northern Kentucky Region Reporter for 2012-2013! Congrats on your new accomplishment!

Harrison County FFA is changing regions this year. We will now be a proud member of the Northern Ky. Region!

Monday marked the end of the third nine weeks at HCHS. Grades are due to the registrar by Wednesday morning. If you have any make up work that needs to be turned in I will need it Tuesday for you to receive credit for that assignment!
On a side note, lets really turn up the heat and finish this last nine weeks strong in your classes! The end of the race is here don’t slow down….speed up!!!
