NOTEBOOKS WILL BE TAKEN UP DURING 3RD ON TUESDAY (15% OF YOUR LAST NINE WEEKS GRADE)

Wednesday – Quiz over Sections 15.3 and 15.4 for all World Civilizations classes Terms/Names over Chapter 16 are due

Thursday – Election of officers for Sophomore year and Club Day

Friday – Film Permission slips must be turned in
Freshman rewards – 5th period in gym List has been placed in the hallways.

PARENTS – FRESHMAN CLASS IS SELLING SOUVENIR T-SHIRTS CLASS OF 2015 FOR $15. THE LAST DAY TO PURCHASE THE SHIRTS WILL BE FRIDAY, APRIL 6. ALL PROCEEDS WILL GO TO THE TREASURY OF THE CLASS OF 2015.

Monday – all classes will complete the review for the Chapter 14 Test
Go over The Great Depression

Tuesday – Chapter 14 Test; Terms/Names over “Fascism Rises in Europe” and “Aggressors Invade Nations” (Chapter 15.3 and 15.4)

Wednesday – Question packet over sections 15.3 and 15.4

Thursday – Packet over Fascism

Friday – Complete the packet and turn in before Spring Break

HAVE A HAPPY EASTER AND A GREAT SPRING BREAK

Students will get a progress report today over the first 1 1/2 weeks of the last Nine Weeks. It is worth 100 pts. and needs to be signed and returned by Friday, March 30th. I’ll continue to send these reports home by way of the student.

Tomorrow March 28th – All classes will have a quiz over Chapter 14 Section 3.

On Thursday, March 29th – club day. All students meet in their homerooms during 4th period. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to come to my room and make up any quiz or test he/she may be missing. Homeroom is used as a study hall for make up work.

Monday – March 19, 2012 – Begin discussion over Chapter 14 Nationalism and Revolution – Go over Terms/Names and questions over Chapter 14 Homework: Lenin & Bloody Sunday

Tuesday – March 20, 2012 – Power Point over Sections 1 & Sections 2 of Chapter 14

Wednesday – March 21, 2012 – Development of communism in China

Thursday – March 22, 2012 – Quiz over 14.1 & 14.2 Power point over Section 14.3

Friday – March 23, 2012 – India – Gaining Some Independence – Ghandi

PROGRESS REPORTS HAVE BEEN SENT HOME WITH STUDENTS. PLEASE SIGN THEM AND HAVE YOUR SON/DAUGHTER RETURN THEM (100 daily pts.)

Monday – February 13 – All classes will have a test over Chapter 11
Tuesday – Questions over Chapter 13 World War I will be due first thing today in all classes except 6th and 7th HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY
Wednesday – Terms/names will be turned in for 1st – 4th We’ll go over Questions from Chapter 13.
Thursday – We will begin power point over Section 1 of Chapter 13. We’ll go over Questions from Chapter 13 in 6th and 7th periods and students will turn in Terms/Names
Friday – Quiz over Chapter 13.1

NEXT WEEK – SCHEDULED DATES FOR NOTEBOOK TURN INS WILL BE GIVEN TO ALL STUDENTS. I’ll also be sending home a film permission slip form for “The Lost Battlion”.
This is a great movie over World War I and I believe my students will really enjoy it.

Students have been given a calendar for the 1st half of February.
Upcoming Events – Tuesday – Quiz over Sections 11.2 and 11.3 for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 7th Students in 6th period will have a quiz over Section 11.1

I will be showing power points over the remainder of Chapter 11 and section three of Chapter 12

Friday – Quiz over Sections 11.4, 11.5, 12.3 for all classes except 6th period. Students in 6th period will have a quiz over Sections 11.2 & 11.3
