It’s FRIDAY!!!! woo hoo!

Another week down at HCHS. The weather sure feels like spring is in the air! So, what’s happening next week in my classes???

ENG 11 – We are finishing up Chapter 8 comprehensions from our novel “The Great Gatsby.” We will begin Monday with vocab from ch. 9 and continue reading. My class really has enjoyed this novel!

ENG 12 – Started reading Act IV of Macbeth as of today and will continue with that on Monday. Plans to finish that and dive into Act V. Along the way we have watched the movie with Patrick Stewart, which is a modernized version of Macbeth. Some like it, some don’t. But, more importantly it gives them a visual of what is happening in the play. They always end up liking it b/c of all the violence that is taking place.

LIFE SKILLS – Finishing up Ch. 27 from our Unit 6 “Parenting and Care-giving Skills.” Will begin Monday with a review and a test to follow on Friday! …yay! :)

I am wishing everyone a relaxing weekend!
