I am soooo proud of how hard my kidos are working in their classes. All my students with the exception of one (who was pretty close) made honor roll for third nine weeks. The seventh graders are studying Rome and how their contributions are used today. I’ve seen models of architecture,tasted all kinds of roman foods, and witnessed some wonderful presentations. Great Job!!!! While studying coordinates in sixth grade we took on some opponents with a game of Battleship.
We are going bowling on this nine week reward trip, so keep up the good work.

Mid-terms come out today. Everyone is working hard and my students are set on making it to distinquished. We have been studying the weather in science, comparing Sparta and Athens culture in Social Studies, and tackling ratios and proportions in math.

February 9

I feel like the Karate Kid, but instead of "wax on, wax off" it's snow day, no snow day.  This winter has gone on forever. I know spring is just around the corner. I encourage you to use these days we're off to catch up on your Reading Counts. You might also find some good programs on Discovery, Nasa,  and History channels that might help you with your projects. They are really not as boring as you might think.

November 29 – December 3

Welcome back.

I hope everyone had as nice a holiday break as I did. We did some shopping, LOTS of eating, and watched a lot of movies. How about you? I am ready to get to work this week and get all those projects done that will be due soon. The end of the nine weeks is almost here. Work hard and get things done. There will be a field trip this Friday for those of you in my group that have all there work in and no behavior issues.

If you need extra help I will be here after school Tues – Thurs. Just let me know.

November 8 – November 12

 How's everybody doing? Classes are moving right along. Thanksgiving is just two weeks away, so there is a lot to cover before then. Don't get behind in your Reading Counts because it's really easy for the due dates to creep up on you before you know it.

I'm sure you had a busy week-end.  Since we are off tomorrow, it might be a good time to catch up on your reading counts and other projects that might be due. Mid-terms are just around the corner. 

I will be staying after school Tuesday-Thursday if anyone needs tutoring.

 October 7

As I sit here thinking about the week the only thing I really can think about is FALL BREAK!!!!!

We have worked so hard this week. We did 9-week assessments and have finished up the work for the first quarter.  Report cards will come out on the 19th. Great job folks. I hope you have a great break and come back ready to dive right into the next grading period. Time goes by fast when we're all working hard.  

September 24— October 1

HOWDY, HOWDY, HOWDY….

It has definately been a full moon week.  Lots of things going on, but we are moving right along.

Just want to remind you of a few things…. like term reports will be coming up soon so try to do your best before fall break. Also, I want to let you know that even though we can't discuss test scores yet…..I AM EXCITED…. Kidos, I'm sure you did great…You work so hard and it has paid off.  You just keep getting better and better. Keep it up!!!!!!
