Monday we will have Fun Day provided by PTO. Tuesday no school. Wednesday Awards Program will begin 8:30 AM and Thursday will be the Talent Show.

We have decided to have our picnic on Tuesday because of the rain.

I am so proud of my kiddos. They have worked through much testing this week and never once complained. They are fabulous kids and they mean the world to me.

Monday is our Picnic day. If you would like to send in something or help, please contact Betty Zumwalt. She has been working so hard to organize this and make it great for our kids.

The saying, “proud as peacock” is what I am today. My students gave their all and their best. They gave everything they had today. I’m am extremely proud of my students. Give them a hug when they get home.

This is just a reminder that the last spelling test is tomorrow. Students can practice their words tonight on Spelling City.

We are in our last week of pretesting practice. I am so proud of my student because they have done a great job learning the content. It’s been a challenging year with new content. At first I was wondering how I could do the best job possible teaching them what they needed to know. It was an amazing year. Sometimes we had to review a few extra times, but they have gotten a good grasp on the content. Our challenge has been 3 digit regrouping of subtraction. If you have any extract time please practice this with your child. We will continue to make this a priority.

May 11th is the last day to take RC tests. Several students have achieved the 200 pts goal. Several other students are achieving higher point goals. Good luck and keep reading.

Lesson 37 spelling test is tomorrow over our math vocabulary words. Next Tuesday will be our last test. 38 will be over testing vocabulary words.

We are testing May 7-10. Please make sure your child is at school those days. If not then the make up time will be the following Monday, May 14th. Our picnic day will be May 14th. Next spelling test is Tuesday over math words. Have a great weekend!
