On behalf of the HC Board of Education, Board Chair Kristy Carey presented a plaque to Mr. Sparks in honor of his "excellent leadership and devotion to students as a member of the Harrison County Board of Education." Mr. Dearborn was presented with an engraved plaque at board meeting by Board Chair, Kristy Carey.


Southside Elementary teachers and staff enjoyed some after school fun last week! Building relationships outside of the classroom helps to build relationships for our students inside of the classroom!

To date, The Dolly Parton Imagination Library has benefited 643 active children from birth to 5 years of age in Harrison County, 60 have graduated the program, 3,395 books have been delivered in the county, 42,012 Kentucky children are currently receiving books and 3.4 million books and counting have been delivered in Kentucky since 2001.

The HCHS Air Force JROTC will be hosting a vendor fair in the HCHS gym on Saturday, October 22nd and Sunday, October 23rd from 10AM-4PM. Cadets will be available to help all vendors unload and load if needed. Booths will be 10 feet X 10 feet and will be available for one day at $20 or both for $35.

Harrison County Public Schools is breaking ground on the new high school tomorrow afternoon!



Today is the first official day of fall!


Earlier this week, Northside and Southside Elementary 4th grade classes traveled to 4H camp for an overnight field trip! A good time was had by all involved!


Tonight is senior night on the soccer field! Come out and support our HCHS Fillies!


All 4th grade classes learned about safety last week at HCS annual Safety Day!


Last Friday, all schools took part in learning about the importance of Constitution Day!
