Tonight, from 5-8 PM at Dairy Queen, HCMS is hosting a Wizard of Oz Character Meet & Greet as part of our fundraiser for the middle school’s first-ever musical production of The Wizard of Oz! Kids and families will have the chance to meet Dorothy, the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, the Cowardly Lion, Glinda the Good Witch, the Wicked Witch of the West, and more while enjoying a sweet treat and supporting our students.

Stacey Erne, the March Golden Horseshoe Award winner, is a true leader and a resource for Century 21 across the district. Known for her dedication, she gives her time and energy wherever needed, always putting the needs of the district, students, and staff first. Her support and encouragement inspire those around her, creating a positive and nurturing environment. Stacey is the ultimate “do-it-all” director, balancing countless responsibilities while making a lasting impact to the students she serves. We are incredibly fortunate that she chooses to serve Harrison County Schools. Congratulations, Stacey!


Shelby Wright, the March Golden Horseshoe Award winner, represents dedication, selflessness, and hard work. As a passionate advisor and leader of FFA, she continuously pursues personal growth while inspiring those around her to do the same. Her leadership and encouragement have helped many students discover their potential within the organization. Beyond FFA, Shelby is deeply involved in her community and high school, where she teaches agriculture and consistently seeks ways to support others. Her commitment, drive, and determination make her a true role model. Congratulations, Shelby!

Harrison County Schools congratulate our archery teams for their successful weekend of winning four state titles at the state tournament in Louisville on March 14-15.

Harrison County Middle School placed 1st in Bullseye and 3D, marking five years in a row.
Harrison County High School placed 1st in Bullseye and 2nd in 3D.
Northside Elementary School placed 1st in 3D.
