Leann Brannock, recipient of the Golden Horseshoe Award, is celebrated for her dedication to ensuring that every student enjoys learning and is successful in her classroom. Her passion for making math fun and engaging shines through her work, and she is truly 100% about the students. Mrs. Brannock goes above and beyond to inspire her students while also being a tremendous source of support for her colleagues who cannot say enough about her generosity, encouragement and friendship. She is a true asset to her school and an inspiration to all.
Rosie Carson, a dedicated custodian and bus driver, is a proud recipient of the Golden Horseshoe Award. Known for her commitment to her work and genuine care for the students, Rosie goes above and beyond in every task she undertakes. Her hard work and passion are evident in her daily interactions, where she consistently shows love for the students and pride in her role. Rosie’s dedication makes her not only deserving of this award but a true inspiration to all who know her.

Congratulations to Southside Elementary! They were the overall winner in the district for the highest student attendance on Ky's High Attendance Day! With 98% attendance, we expect them to be a front-runner and hard to beat in the state! We cannot wait for those results!!!!
