The Harrison County Preschool program is starting to collect data for the 2022-23 school year. Please note that this form is not a registration form but instead it is an interest survey. Any student that enrolls must be 4 years old on or before August 1, 2022, three years old with a suspected and or identified disability and meet the 160% of the national poverty guidelines. There are tuition spots available. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at 234-7110 as I will be happy to assist you in every possible way! Registration for preschool will be held in late April, but at this time, the exact date has not been formally established. As always, it is a pleasure serving the youngest learners in Harrison County. The form is available at this link: https://forms.gle/8Yy6DG4m7xfEt9i4A

Update on Social Media Threat. For more details, please see link.
https://5il.co/11kgq
The Harrison County School District has been made aware of a social media post circulating the
Internet. The post references a threat to a “Harrison High” but gives no information regarding the
location be it city, county or state. There are multiple Harrison Highs across the country, and we
are taking the precaution to consider ourselves as one of the potential locations. In late October, a
similar post circulated social media in other states.
The post circulating today has been turned over to law enforcement for investigation. The
Cynthiana Police Department, Harrison County Sheriff’s Department, and Kentucky State Police
are working to determine the source of this information. While this may be something as simple as
disinformation shared on social media, the school district holds the safety of our students and staff
as our number one responsibility. The next few days you can expect to see an increased presence
of law enforcement on our campus as we want to ensure all students, staff and community that
our schools are as safe as humanly possible. We will continue to work with our law enforcement
partners to investigate and respond to this situation. Anyone found responsible for such actions
will be held accountable and prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
